Peter Hamilton – Boston
Mr. Hamilton brings various professional experiences and a client-centered approach to his work at Conley Search Group. Peter focuses on sales, marketing, distribution assignments, and fundraising for Higher-Ed and Not-For-Profit sectors. Before his career in executive recruiting, he worked in retail banking at the Bank of Boston and advertising sales at The Hartford Business Journal. He has also served as a teacher and a senior administrator in two Boston-area independent schools, Dexter School in Brookline and Noble and Greenough School in Dedham. Peter was a senior development officer at Nobles, where he used a research-based approach to fundraising and worked closely with executives and entrepreneurs from Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Commercial Real Estate, Asset Management, Bio- technology, Healthcare, and Higher Education.
Mr. Hamilton holds a B.A. in English literature from Gettysburg College, where he played varsity soccer and wrote for the College’s newspaper, The Gettysburgian. While earning his master’s degree from Middlebury College, he studied Shakespeare and Chaucer at the University of Oxford. Active in philanthropy, Mr. Hamilton serves on the Board of Directors of Camp O-AT-KA, Inc., a non-profit summer camp for boys in Sebago, Maine.
