Elaine Filimon – Washington D.C

Ms. Filimon has over 20 years of retained executive search experience focusing on
technology and cybersecurity in Financial Services and Academic Research Labs (DOD). She has
recruited senior executives in all functional disciplines, including general management,
technology, marketing, sales, finance, human resources, and boards of directors. Elaine brings a
comprehensive, research-focused search methodology developed throughout her career to each new
assignment.


As a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, Ms. Filimon served Fortune 500 clients and helped build
management teams for emerging technology clients. She previously spent time at Kenny, Kindler &
Hunt, Canny Bowen, and Ray & Berndtson in New York, where she served both domestic and global
clients in the consumer/packaged goods and financial services industries. Before entering
executive search, Ms. Filimon held marketing and research positions with Random House and Time
Inc. She received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Delaware.
